Pretty Shitty day to Craven Arms

I don't know what it was about today, but nothing felt right and little things were annoying! For example, the route was plotted in Cindy Sat Nav and then when jumping on the bike, it had disappeared so I had to be re-route. Nothing in isolation, so not worth bothering about.

Riding down to Holt I [PC] had forgotten to put on the snood, so was starting to feel the cold. Had to pull over and dress myself! Nothing in isolation, so not worth bothering about.

My kit didn't feel very comfortable and I had to stand a number of times  to get it comfortable. Nothing in isolation so not worth bothering about.

Slow van, slow cars going into Holt so took the sneaky short cut through the houses and was just about to get in front of the van that had gone through the village, but I hadn't engaged 1st gear - I was in neutral so revved the arse off and didn't get anywhere and couldn't beat the van. Nothing in isolation so not worth bothering about.

Got to traffic lights to turn left toward Whitchurch - road closed, but not too worry carried straight on a different route to Ellesmere, which we've ridden about a million times - got to the Toby Straight mile roundabout and took the incorrect turning to Ellesmere - FFS why!!!!!! Nothing in isolation so not worth bothering about.

Had a pleasant ride down to Much Wenloch, without incident thank goodness!

Took the really nice road over to Craven Arms and went for a cup of tea. Just entering Craven Arms and turning right at the mini round-a-bout a fucking old biddy didn't see us (or probably didn't even look) and drove straight across our path - one inch further forward and would have been taken out and it would not have been pleasant. She stopped in the carpark to go shopping so I had a little, very measured chat! She admitted that she didn't even see us and must have had a glitch! Anyway, got away with it, but that's not the point next time she could injure someone or worse, so suggest she gives her license back - she must have been late 80's so think it's time! This was worth bothering about, but glad it was in isolation.

Had a very nice cup of tea!

Started to ride home and a BMW twat was up my chuff, but kept calm and carried on. Nothing in isolation so not worth bothering about.Went round a left sweeping bend and drifted to other side of the road - I hadn't done this since I started riding Suzie 14 years ago!!!!! I could see around the bend, but that's not the point, I didn't counter steer....This was worth bothering about, but glad it was in isolation.

Rode home very carefully and didn't race on the A483, passing slow cars which is what we would normally do. Had a pint at the GL and got home in one piece thank the Lord for that!!

Got changed out of riding gear and coming downstairs tripped, nearly falling into the dining area!!!! PC whipped up an Arrabbiata for tea and it was yum yum!

To top it all, after a lovely night watching Strictly, took Stan for last wee and tripped on the stone steps outside, nearly tumbling into one of the Turkey's cars (who has parked like a twat in front of our house!!!

All the "nothing in isolation, so not worth bothering about's" mount up and end up led to a shitty day! Writing that day off and tomorrow is another day!
