Let's have a ride to Vyrnwy
This has to be one of the of the best ride outs of the year. Everything felt smooth, the roads were clear and even if there were cars, they just politely moved to the side to let us pass. We didn't stop, not once for traffic lights or roundabouts on the A483 or any junction until we got to Vyrnwy.
Stopped for a very bad cup of coffee at the little café near the Dam. This was pretty disappointing, as we love this place but it seemed to be run by 14 year olds who didn't really know what to do. Also the coffee tasted very cheap indeed! Should have had tea instead!!
Toby getting a look at the birds in this bird sanctuary. Fascinating really as you can get very close up to the birds feeding on the other side of the viewing glass.
Then off for a bite of lunch in Dolgellau. Again, not the best stops we've had as the sandwiches were a bit bland and hard, but hey-hum back on the road.

It continued to be a treat to ride, doing some our all time favourite roads, including the single track road over to Ystbty Ifan and then Denbigh Moores. Even the Nant-y-garth pass was empty in front of us, and whist it is now restricted to 40 mph we still managed to have a clear run through and we couldn't have gone much quicker anyway!!Back for a swifty at The GL before heading home and having a PC made Chicken Arrabbiata!!!!!!
