Back in the Saddle – A Healing Ride to Bishop’s Castle

After a harrowing week following the house fire, we decided to bite the bullet and get back on the bikes for the first time. It wasn’t easy—there were nerves, new gear to get used to, and a lot on our minds. But sometimes, the best way to begin healing is to do what you love.

PC had a bit of a challenge with his new boots—slightly bigger than usual, which meant a bit of extra thought around gear changes. But we got there.

We rode out to Bishop’s Castle for lunch, and as always, it was a treat. Familiar roads, good food, and the comfort of being back in the saddle made all the difference.

Not much to say on this blog, as it was a quiet ride getting back in the saddle, so onwards and upwards for the next ride out
