Inaugural Trip of 2025
The 1st trip of 2025 started on a lovely February morning, although Stanley was looking less than impressed as he's realised the biking days have started again and he'd be left at home - ah well, not to worry Stan, you'll be upside down on the settee in less than 10 minutes of our departure 🤪
The last trip was November 2024, so it seems a really long time since we rode the bike, sure we'll remember how to ride it 🤞😀. The bike was cleaned within an inch of its life after the last use, so has been "winter ready" for the last 3 months.
Sparked up effortlessly and felt just normal riding, even the short distance from the garage to the house. Tyers, deflated by 0.4 bar so a leg workout required to get back to normal.
We have seen this cafe being renovated over the winter, so thought we'd give it a try for our 1st pit stop of the year. Must say, very welcoming, clean, trendy, lots of space and very nice teas' and coffee. Can't go wrong a suppose, but some are better than others; menu looks appetising too!

Headed out to Beddgelert and around the west route of Snowdon. The roads were particularity quiet, so made great progress to Dani's to have a little lunch stop. Then a non-stop ride home via the Ogwen Valley!
PC was then going to attempt a salmon and broccoli pasta bake with anchovies and capers - yum yum!!!
Very nice too, so a good finish after a top day out...
