Meet with St.Albans Crew
Riding down to St. Albans and back to Keele in one day is a bit too far.... Set off at 4:45 in the pitch black and decided to go down to Telford via the A49. Getting to Whitchurch the A525 was effing closed!!! just what you want at 5:00AM a 15 mile detour!Anyway off I went and eventually got back on the main road where it was pretty plain sailing! Al the way down for a bacon buttie at Corley Service Station. A mega slice of bacon on a warm bap! Bobbins'
Full day with the crew from St. Albans and then back up the motorway in the absolute pissing rain. Torrential rain, but the riding gear was a match for any rain thrown at me! Another pit stop, this time Warwick Service Station for crispy chicken noodles in a box. It looked good and wasn't too bad to be fair. Up to Keele after 300 miles of mainly motorways. Too far for me in one day really although I did enjoy the riding. off to bed early now!!
