Sunday Afternoon Zip around Cheshire

This one wasn’t about the bikes or the open road—but it still hit the spot.

A quick night away on Anglesey with the kids and the legendary Grrrrrandsrog. It was a brief stopover—just long enough to breathe some sea air and reset. We left the motorbikes behind this time and took the car, Stanley riding shotgun with his usual mix of dignity and drool.

Afternoon rolled in soft and golden, and naturally, we made our way to the local pub for a few well-earned pints. Nothing fancy. Just cold beer, good company, and that easy rhythm that only comes with family.

Later, the night settled in around us, and we found ourselves in the garage—darts flying, laughter bouncing off the walls, and the kind of competitive energy that only surfaces once the second pint's gone down.

Sometimes it’s not about the miles or the scenery—it’s about moments like this. A pause between rides. A pint between adventures.🍻🍻🍻🤪🎯

After the Anglesey reset, there was just enough time for a quick change of pace—home, gear on, and back on two wheels. No photos this time, no epic detours—just a fast and freeing ride down to Keele, clocking in at a brisk two and a half hours, round trip.

The roads were kind, the traffic sparse, and the ride... exactly what was needed.

We circled back just in time to drop the sidestand and stroll into The Alyn for another post-ride pint—because why break tradition now?

And then came the surprise star of the evening: a newly discovered Welsh Dragon Burger from Bellis’s, paired with crisp fresh salad and that unmistakable post-ride appetite.

Yum. Yum. And... Yum.

Not every ride needs a photo album. Some are just for you, your throttle hand, and a damn good burger at the end.🍻🍻🍔🍔🥗🥗
